for Infrared Guidance System Calibration
Cynergy Ergonomics Case Study
REQUIREMENT:
Defense contractor requires a device to accurately position
a black body targeting device for calibration of infrared
guidance systems. Equipment is utilized in a clean room
environment with a single phase AC power supply.
SOLUTION:
Solution utilized a 2-axis positioning system incorporating
DC servo driven actuators operating in linear guide rails. A
remote operator/controller is provided with rotary
potentiometers that provide infinitely variable speed
control adjustment; unit is designed utilizing stainless
steel and aluminum members for the clean room environment.
